• Why did you opt to use Sucralose instead of Stevia or another natural sweetener?

  We carefully considered both taste and health benefits when formulating this product line. Since many consumers complain of Stevia's bitter aftertaste, we sweeten the shake with Sucralose, which is the most widely approved sweetener (approved in over 90 countries) and Trehalose. The former is an artificial sweetener derived from regular sugar and is widely used in most food product categories. The vast majority of the sweetener in our shake is actually Trehalose, a natural, non-insulin stimulating sugar found in mushrooms, raspberries and other plants. Trehalose is a breakthrough ingredient and part of what makes the Bowflex Body^™ fitness shake so unique.

• How much protein, fiber and calories are in the shakes?

  The base vanilla shake tastes great and contains 15 grams of protein, 6 grams of fiber and only 125 calories. The Chocolate "Fat Burner +" Shake Boost contains only 10 calories, the Mixed Berry "Antioxidant +" Shake Boost only 5 calories and the Peanut Butter "Protein Boost +" Shake Boost contains 80 calories but boosts the shake to a whopping 25 grams of protein in every serving. Both the Pre-Workout and Daily Energy formulations contain only 50 calories per serving.

• What kind of protein is used in the shake?

  The Peak 5^™ protein and fiber blend is another element that sets the Bowflex Body^™ nutrition line apart. This proprietary blend of five premium proteins is unique to Bowflex and maximizes muscle gain and satiety because each protein digests at a different rate, leaving you feeling fuller for longer. • Is it safe or recommended to mix the energy drinks with the shakes?

  While it's possible, it's not recommended. The Bowflex Body^™ shake is already designed to activate your metabolism and provide energy. The Pre-Workout and Daily Energy mixes are really meant to be enjoyed in water or an isotonic beverage before a workout or throughout the day.
